Helpful Hints for Getting to London
London has an International Airport that is located about 7 miles from the Conference venue, the Hilton Hotel in the heart of downtown London. London international airport is serviced by 3 major airlines: Air Canada (via Toronto, Winnipeg and Ottawa), Northwest Airlines (via Detroit, Michigan) and WestJet (via numerous Canadian cities and selected U.S. Cities). For more information about flights and schedules, see the airport website at www.londonairport.on.ca.
It may be easier to fly into either Detroit or Toronto. From there, you can rent a car or take the Robert Q Airbus van. Both of these airports are approximately a 2-hour drive (200 km) to London.
- The cost for the Robert Q from the Detroit Airport is approximately $118 (Canadian).
- The cost for the Robert Q from the Toronto Airport is approximately $100 (Canadian).
For more information, schedules, and reservations, please contact Robert Q directly at www.robertq.com.
It is also possible to drive from the Buffalo International Airport, but this is a bit longer, approximately 3 hours by car.
If you have additional questions, please contact Angela Law (alaw1@uwo.ca) or the Conference Co-Chairs, Helene Berman (hberman@uwo.ca) or Marilyn Ford-Gilboe (mfordg@uwo.ca).
We look forward to seeing you in London!
